Cresswell Beach & The Northumberland Coast Path

Cresswell beach is a magnificent beach with plenty of sand and outstanding views.

Cresswell also marks the beginning of the Northumberland Coast Path — a long-distance walking route stretching north along the coastline to Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The first stage of the route heads from Cresswell to Warkworth, passing through Druridge Bay, Low Hauxley and Amble, with wide beaches, dunes and coastal views throughout.

Whether you’re walking the full route or just exploring a section during your stay, the coast path is right on the doorstep.
